Reclaiming Your Pet

If your pet has been picked up by Animal Control and brought to the shelter, you may come to reclaim your pet Monday - Saturday, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The shelter is located at 950 South Grove Boulevard, Kingsland.

Reclaim Fees for Lost Animals Brought to Shelter:

The reclaim fees for St. Marys, Kingsland, Camden County, and Woodbine are as follows:

Spayed/Neutered Animals	Un-Spayed/Neutered Animals
1st Offense: $20	1st Offense: $45
2nd Offense: $40	2nd Offense: $70
3rd Offense: $55	3rd Offense: 100

An occurrence is considered to be a second or third offense if it occurs within a 12-month period of the last offense.

Owner must provide proof of current rabies vaccination or HSCC must confirm rabies vaccination with veterinarian via telephone. If there is no proof that the animal has had a rabies vaccination there is a $15.00 charge for a rabies voucher. The rabies vaccination must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

A fee of $7.00 per day will be charged for boarding cats and $10.00 per day for dogs prior to reclaim.
